    "I first discovered synchro when I started studying at the University of Michigan and learned about their synchro team. I skated with the University of Michigan’s collegiate team for five years, while I completed my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in psychology and neuroscience. I recently finished my studies and moved to Madrid, and I’m now skating with Team Fusion. I’m really excited to join Jura Synchro as a correspondent, and explore new ways to be involved in this amazing sport."

The 2021 Spanish National Championships took place this past weekend in Jaca, a city in northeastern Spain. The competition featured performances from three synchro teams: Team Fusion (Senior), Team Mirum (Junior), and Team Shooting Stars (Mixed Age).

Competition season gets underway in Spain

Last weekend, Spanish synchronized skaters kicked-off their season at the Madrid Championships. The competition, which followed strict guidelines in order to comply with the government’s Covid restrictions, was a good opportunity for teams to showcase their programs to a live panel of judges for the first time in the season.
