National championships and international competition in Neuss

German teams competed at the national championships this weekend in Neuss, in the west of the country. Several international teams also made the trip.

During two days, synchronized skating was the highlight at the "Eissporthalle" in Neuss. International teams competed, while the Germans fought for their national championships. 

So who are the 2023 German champions?
Team Berlin 1 won the Senior ISU competition with two points ahead of United Angels.

Skating Graces was the best German team in Juniors. The team from Chemnitz finished 2nd in the overall competition, however, behind Cool Dreams Juniors from Switzerland.

In Advanced Novices, only one team (Team Berlin) was competing for the national title. The team finished 3rd in the competition, behind Team Harmony from Sweden and Starlight Novice from Switzerland. 



On the other hand, six teams were competing in the Mixed Age category. The victory went to Team Butterfl'Ice who also won the international competition which was extremely close.

Note also that Team Berlin Adult, Skating Graces Juvenile and Saxony Ice Pearls (Basic Novice Non ISU) also became the German champions in their category.
