Every year the final Senior competition in Finland has a special excitement. The two Senior World Championship representatives will be chosen, and the teams' pressure is high.

The Nationals winner will claim a place in the World Championships as Team Finland 1. In selecting Team Finland 2, the average of the top two overall results during the season (one subordinated to the Finnish Figure Skating Federation and the other may be ISU competition) is calculated. The overall score of the senior Nationals is added to the average. So, the team with the highest aggregate points will be selected.

The statistics before the Nationals are led by the reigning Finnish champion Helsinki Rockettes (230.21), then Marigold IceUnity (224.63) and Team Unique in third place (222.27).
