Special week for synchronized skating! The World Junior Championships were held in Neuchâtel (SUI) this weekend. This week's ceremony takes place today, Monday, to come back to this event that interested the whole synchro planet.


Team Junost crowned Junior World Champion for the 3rd time in a row

The tension was palpable this Saturday at the Littoral ice rink in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where the Junior ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships were held. A few points separated the teams after the short programs, so everything still had to be written. The Junior skaters knew it, it was necessary to present a faultless program in order to be able to preserve its rank obtained the day before.

Two Russian teams lead after short programs at the World Junior Championships

The city of Neuchâtel hosted nice skating in Neuchâtel on Friday afternoon. 23 teams from Russia, Canada, the United States, all of Europe but also Australia skated their short program on this first day of competition.

The first day at French Cup ended in an exciting situation

The 25th French Cup started in a good atmosphere, as so many times before. It empowered the performances of the top teams so that in Senior category the five top teams are within 2.51 points after the short program while Team Paradise from Russia is leading the competition. In the Junior division, the tight fight for the victory should be between Dream Edges (FIN) and Junost (RUS). The difference between the two teams is only 0.18 points. Team Dynamique (FIN) captured the win in the Advanced Novice category.

Russia found finally its 2019 National Champions

The second day of Russian National Championship was full of different kind of emotions. Joy and happiness, hope and faces, tears and disappointments – all of it and much more were in Yoshkar-Ola this Sunday.

One of the biggest battles of the season started this Saturday in Russia. Thousands of synchro lovers brought together in Yoshkar-Ola to support their favorite team! The first day of the Russian Nationals was exciting and really eventful.

The most important event is coming this weekend in the Russian synchronized skating world. The National Championships take place from 11th to 13th of January in Yoshkar-Ola. It will be the 10th Russian National Championship organized in this place. The 28 strongest teams from all country will take part in this competition. 

"It’s very important to have an ability to tolerate, understand each other and help"

This year, the Junior Russian team Junost celebrated their 20th anniversary. From the very first day, a permanent coaching staff is leading Junost: Natalia Sannikova, Elena Moshnova, and Mikhail Pavluchenko. They all came from different places but all were united by the boundless love for synchro. This trio brought up more than one generation of the champions.

Russia: The battle rages for the Nationals

The last stage of the Russian Cup took place in Tolyatti at the beginning of the week. 39 teams competed in Senior, Junior, Advanced and Basic Novice categories. For Junior and Advanced Novice teams, it was the last chance to receive the ticket to the National Championships, which will be held 11-13 January in Yoshkar-Ola.
