After gold in 2022, 2023 and 2024, Les SuprĂŞmes Senior returned to the top of the world for the 4th time. How do you feel?
Marilyn Langlois - head coach: I feel extremely proud and grateful. It’s a great sense of accomplishment, but also a lot of happiness to see the work of an entire team rewarded.
What were the team’s strengths this season?
Our greatest strength was teamwork, both on the ice and in the creative process. There was real artistic openness, a sharing of ideas and a trust that allowed us to go further collectively.
Have there been any changes in the way you work this season?
Every year, we choose one aspect to improve. This season, we placed a strong emphasis on recovery and injury prevention. We also got creative with our periodization to work on different parts of the program in a targeted way, in order to better align the mental and the physical.
What are you most proud of as a coach?
We are especially proud of our athletes’ openness, their progress in communication, and the human qualities they demonstrate. Their kindness and respect are an integral part of our success.
What will Les SuprĂŞmes look like in 2026-2027?
Each season is different, because the “ingredients” always change a little. We have to keep evolving. That said, our non-negotiables remain the same: finding a balance between enjoyment and high standards, and continuing to build a deeply caring culture.
