Group 1
Black Diam's opened the junior competition. Dressed in elegant black and blue costumes, the young team from Compiègne earned, with 1 point deduction, 58.71 points for their free program, for a total of 92.70.

The Swiss team Starlight Junior skated their short program "Mountains". Despite a fall in the Moves, the Zurich skaters can be proud of their performance. Indeed, the team was not complete for this competition and travelled to France with four missing skaters because of Covid. FP: 74.16 Total score: 112.52.

Then the team Zazous from Lyon, France, entered the ice. The team also had a fall just at the beginning of the Moves element but quickly got back and skated their Broadway-style program with great energy, totalling 70.29 points for a total score of 109.60.

Group 2
The Cool Dreams Junior team from Burgdorf, Switzerland, skated their dramatic free program with confidence on Saturday. In grey dresses, the team had a clean skate. Their program brought them 86.74 points (total score: 130.04).

Team Ice Fire from Poland brought a new dimension to the competition skating a powerful and fast program. Except for an hesitation in the Moves, the team performed a flawless performance with creative and acrobatic elements. The team from Gdansk, which is also the national champion, won 91.67 points, and 142.93 points in total.

Dream Edges Junior (FIN) then presented "Alchemy," starting with several axels performed in a circle. The team had an unfortunate fall just before the whip intersection, which heavily impacted the element. Nevertheless, the Finnish team presented some good skating skills and a creative program. Score for the free program: 110.75 (deductions: -2) / Total: 175.83

After the short program, the Teams Elite was already leading the competition. On Sunday, they created a great atmosphere in the French rink on Saturday with a very energetic and precise performance. Their interesting dresses (and especially the skirts!) brought colours and exciting addition to the performance. At the end of the program, the coaches jumped for joy, and the skaters hugged in the middle of the ice.

With a score of 126.11, the American Teams Elite won the French Cup 2022 with 197.26!
