After finishing first out of the three junior teams at the French national championships in March, the season continues for Team Jeanne d’Arc. The team is on their way to Zagreb, host city of the World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships.
rnThe team says that their main goal is to perform at the competition, which is the most important one. During the 2017/2018 season, they skated at 5 different competitions: The Masters, the Winter Cup in Belgium, the Cup of Berlin in Germany (where they scored their highest: 117.39 points in total), the French Cup at home in Rouen and finally the French junior national championships. This last competition is a real reward for their hard work. “We are starting to be ranked among the best international teams, as so we are aiming to do our best so that we can carry the French colors at their highest!”
Just like many teams, Team Jeanne d’Arc is traveling to Zagreb on Tuesday. After working hard all season, the team kept training intensively and had a training camp during the holidays. “Good results would be the consecration of our hard work,” the team said.
rnThe ISU Junior World Synchronized Skating Championships will take place on Friday and Saturday in Croatia. 21 teams will take part in this event.
