The International Skating Union (ISU) Council took a final decision regarding the possibility to postpone the 2020 World Senior Synchronized Skating Championships that would have taken place in Lake Placid (USA) at the beginning of April.

Philippe Maitrot, Chair of the ISU Synchronized Skating Technical Committee, sent a letter to the senior and junior teams who should have participated in the World Championships. He adds that all options are still possible for the postponement of the Senior Worlds.

For its 20th anniversary, the World Synchronized Skating Championships will come back to the USA in April 2020. Opened on October 8, ticket sales are going well. The Organizing Committee announced that 4,000 tickets have already been sold.
The first tickets for the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships 2020 will be available this Tuesday at noon Eastern Time. The event that will start in 177 days will take place at the Lake Placid Olympic Center (USA).
