What To Expect From The First US Competition

On Saturday, October 27th, the first US competition kicks off outside the historic city of Philadelphia at the Hatfield Ice Arena hosted by Philadelphia Symmetry. This weekend will include a Judges Critique and is approved as an International Selection Pool competition for junior and senior teams. It’s a busy weekend for the skaters as many of them skate an official practice, competition, and a critique!


The Most Exciting US Nationals

History was made at the most recent US Nationals held in Portland, Oregon. Teams came all across the country to compete in the event. Stakes were high, but tensions higher.

Trophy d'Ecosse 2018: junior and senior competitions

The Dumfries Ice Bowl, Scotland, was heaving with hoards of excited fans and skaters today with the culmination of the ISU event. 1500 competitor passes had been handed out for the 3 day competition and fans were sitting on steps and stood in crowds at the boards to watch the Junior and Senior events.

Canada, Russia, USA and Finland on the podium in Salzburg

For the Junior and Senior divisions, the 2018 Mozart Cup took place on Friday and Saturday in the scenic city of Salzburg in Austria. Les Suprêmes (CAN) bring home two medals, in gold and bronze. Teams from Russian, from the USA, and Finland completed the podiums.

For many skaters, Porter is their favorite competition and one they look forward to the whole year. Porter Recap: Senior Division

Over the past weekend, 179 teams came from all over the United States to compete at the 21st annual Dr. Richard Porter Synchronized Classic in Ann Arbor, Michigan at the Ice Cube. Year after year, Porter ranks in as the biggest non-qualifying competition of the season. Ann Arbor’s quaint college town charm welcomes teams near and far to one of the most exciting events in American synchronized skating.
