The 2nd stage of the Russian Cup and the Open Cup of the Urals took place in Ekaterinburg a few days ago. Previously this competition was held in Novouralsk, but the event was moved to the capital of the Urals.
One of the most anticipated events of the Russian synchro world started on the 17th of January. The thirty best teams from the whole country arrived in Saransk to fight for the title of the Russian Nationals and qualify for the Worlds.
A total of 37 Russian teams competed a few days ago at the Volga Cup, the third stage of the Russian Cup. Team Tatarstan won the gold in the Senior division, and Team Junost finished first in the Junior competition and looked solid on the ice.
The second stage of Cup of Russia took place this weekend in Novouralsk. More than 30 teams from different cities in Russia competed in 4 categories: Basic Novice, Advanced Novice, Junior and Senior. The level of each team grows extremely fast from year to year. Most of the teams tried to achieve the highest levels, but only the best reached them.
The season is not over yet for young Russian skaters. From the 30 to the 31 of March, the 2019 Moscow Cup for Novice categories took place in the Russian capital. 15 teams from all over the country have performed their free program in the Ice Palace “Dream”. Let’s take a look at this competition!
One of the biggest battles of the season started this Saturday in Russia. Thousands of synchro lovers brought together in Yoshkar-Ola to support their favorite team! The first day of the Russian Nationals was exciting and really eventful.
The most important event is coming this weekend in the Russian synchronized skating world. The National Championships take place from 11th to 13th of January in Yoshkar-Ola. It will be the 10th Russian National Championship organized in this place. The 28 strongest teams from all country will take part in this competition.
The last stage of the Russian Cup took place in Tolyatti at the beginning of the week. 39 teams competed in Senior, Junior, Advanced and Basic Novice categories. For Junior and Advanced Novice teams, it was the last chance to receive the ticket to the National Championships, which will be held 11-13 January in Yoshkar-Ola.
Those last weekends were interesting in the synchro world. In Russia, the synchro teams lived a few days ago the second leg of the Russian Cup held in Novouralsk. 27 teams competed in 3 different categories: Novice B, Novice A, and Junior. This new stage was also a great opportunity to set new season scoring records.
