This past weekend, more than 180 synchronized skating teams competed at the 24th Porter Classic in Ann Arbor, Michigan. For many teams, this event is an important and exciting competition at the beginning of the season.

Thursday and Friday kicked off one the most heated National Championships of the United States yet. Teams came in ready to fight and teams pushed it to their peak and the scores and skates were stunning and breathtaking. Limits were pushed and scores were pushed even higher.
Russian teams were in utterly dominant form claiming all titles on Saturday at the 2019 Leon Lurje Trophy in Gothenburg, Sweden. Team Paradise and Sunrise 1 lead for the moment the Senior and Junior division after the short programs. Sunrise 2 dominated the Advanced Novice category.
