COVID-19: Ice rinks closing for 2 weeks in the Czech Republic

The Czech government has imposed new restrictions, closing all indoor sports spaces, including ice rinks. Czech synchro teams will now only be allowed to train outside, or individually at home.

Team Junost crowned Junior World Champion for the 3rd time in a row

The tension was palpable this Saturday at the Littoral ice rink in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, where the Junior ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships were held. A few points separated the teams after the short programs, so everything still had to be written. The Junior skaters knew it, it was necessary to present a faultless program in order to be able to preserve its rank obtained the day before.

Two Russian teams lead after short programs at the World Junior Championships

The city of Neuchâtel hosted nice skating in Neuchâtel on Friday afternoon. 23 teams from Russia, Canada, the United States, all of Europe but also Australia skated their short program on this first day of competition.

The second day of Winter Cup 2018 competition set the stage for Basic Novice, Pre Juvenile, Senior B, Juvenile, Junior ISU and Senior ISU teams to demonstrate their best to judges.

On the second competition day of World Junior Championship, the 21 teams continued their race with their all-out effort. The first 4 teams from Short Program kept their positions while middle-tier teams’ positions have shifted much.

Junior Worlds: Russia and USA dominated the Short Programs

The first competition day of the 2018 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships took place on Friday evening in Zagreb, Croatia. The 2017 Junior World Champions Team Junost from Russia finished atop of the competition. Skyliners (USA) trails the leader by three points in second place, while Crystal Ice  (RUS) also is provisionally third.


21 Junior teams are preparing for the Worlds

The 2018 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships lands at Zagreb’s Dom Sportova in Croatia on 16-17 March. The competition will see the best 21 teams competing for the most prestigious titles.

Budapest Cup, one of the last competitions before the Worlds

The Russian Team Paradise, Team Nova from Sweden and Team Junost (RUS) are the 2018 Budapest Cup champions in the ISU categories. In the Non-ISU divisions, the Mixed Age was a great success. The competition took place last weekend in the Hungarian capital.

Spring Cup: gold flies to Russia and Sweden!

After the short programs on Saturday, the junior and senior teams presented their free program on Sunday. By the Juniors, Idel of Russia maintained their first place and the top 3 has not changed. In the senior category, Team Surprise won the gold title.

Canada, Russia, USA and Finland on the podium in Salzburg

For the Junior and Senior divisions, the 2018 Mozart Cup took place on Friday and Saturday in the scenic city of Salzburg in Austria. Les Suprêmes (CAN) bring home two medals, in gold and bronze. Teams from Russian, from the USA, and Finland completed the podiums.
