A Mixed Age Trophy to end the season
"We didn’t even expect to win the competition," reacted Team Magic (HUN) after the Mixed Age Trophy. The international and well-known event in Europe gathered 13 teams last weekend in Italy.
Sweden storms to gold at the International Mixed Age Trophy
The season ended on Saturday afternoon in Basel, northern Switzerland, for the Mixed Age teams. The International Mixed Age Trophy gathered 17 teams from all over Europe. The victory went to Team Infinity from Sweden.
The race to the French national title has started for 29 teams
29 French teams faced each other last weekend on the ice of Romorantin for the 1st round of the national championship.
A new life for a few ice rinks
Built mainly in the 70s after the 1968 Olympic Winter Games in Grenoble, French ice rinks are now aging. Renovation costs are high. However, three new ice rinks bloom this year in France. The inaugurations of the ice rinks of Angers, Dunkerque and Louviers are scheduled for September. Two of them will house a synchronized skating club: Dunkerque Skating and Ice Skating Club Louviers.
Switzerland on top at the 2019 Mixed Age Trophy
Teams from all over Europe met on Saturday in Le Havre, France, for the International Mixed Age Trophy 2019. Thirteen teams representing seven different countries were involved.
