Leon Lurje Trophy: Team Paradise and Crystal Ice Junior leading after short programs

Leon Lurje Trophy, which is one of four competitions in the ISU Challenger Series, is arranged in Gothenburg, Sweden this weekend. Seniors and Juniors performed their short programs on Friday. Team Paradise is leading in Seniors and Crystal Ice Junior holds the first place in Juniors.

Finnish teams kept dominating the fourth Hevelius Cup in Gdansk, Poland. On Sunday, the ISU categories Senior, Junior and Advanced Novices skated their free programs. Finland took eight medals of nine. In the Interclub competition, it was turn of Juvenile B, Basic Novices and Mixed Age to compete

A fully and emotional weekend in Finland with the Second Qualifications

Helsinki Rockettes kept the leading position in Seniors on Sunday and was the winner of those second Finnish qualifications, by earning 215.46 total scores. In the Juniors, Team Mystique won the thrilling competition with 115.75 points. Finettes got the gold medal in the Novice category with 82.41 points.

The Second Finnish Qualifications for Synchronized Skating teams are held in Lahti this weekend. Helsinki Rockettes are leading in Seniors. In Juniors' category Team Mystique took the first place but is followed by two teams within a point. Team Dynamique won the first section of Novice teams.


Team Unique: "This was an important win for us. We have done a lot of mental work"

By winning the first qualifications in Finland, the Senior Team Unique racked up a first season best score last weekend in Helsinki. A few hours after their victory, the captains gave their impressions to Jura Synchro.

Thrilling Competitions at Finnish First Qualifications

There was no doubt of the winners in Seniors on Sunday, when Team Unique got 139.94 points from their free program and earned total scores 216.69. In the Junior category, Team Fintastic also kept the leading position and won the competition with 182.39 points. For the Novices division (second segment), Team Dynamique got the gold medal with 73.88.

The first National Synchronized Skating Qualification in Finland started today in Espoo. After the short programs on Saturday, Team Unique leads the Senior competition. In Juniors, Team Fintastic took the first place and Finettes is the winner of today´s Novice competition.

Held in the Finnish city of Espoo, the Finlandia Trophy 2019 was the very first competition for the senior teams to show their new short programs. The new 2019/20 season started with a fierce battle to the top spots.

Team Paradise picked up the gold medal at Finlandia Trophy on Saturday

The 24th Finlandia Trophy took palce in Espoo during 11-13 October. Late Saturday evening was brought to a climax by Russian Team Paradise which won the short program competition. Only five Senior teams took part in this invitational competition, but the quality replaced the number when the teams represented the top of synchro skating in the World. Helsinki Rockettes (FIN) took the silver medal and Team Unique (FIN) was placed third.
