The city of Neuchâtel hosted nice skating in Neuchâtel on Friday afternoon. 23 teams from Russia, Canada, the United States, all of Europe but also Australia skated their short program on this first day of competition.
This weekend Swedish nationals took place in Nacka outside of Stockholm. There were four categories in this weekend’s competition, Debutant, Advanced Novice, Junior and Senior. The arena was completely full, and all tickets were sold out weeks before the competition began.
Italy once again charmed several synchronized skating teams who competed last weekend in Milan in Advanced Novice, Junior and Senior. The competition also celebrated the 25th anniversary of its creation.
The second national qualifications took place in Tjörn, Sweden. Finishing first and second, Team Spirit and Team Seaside have qualified for the Junior Synchronized Skating World Championships. Check out now the results!
On the second competition day of World Junior Championship, the 21 teams continued their race with their all-out effort. The first 4 teams from Short Program kept their positions while middle-tier teams’ positions have shifted much.
The first competition day of the 2018 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships took place on Friday evening in Zagreb, Croatia. The 2017 Junior World Champions Team Junost from Russia finished atop of the competition. Skyliners (USA) trails the leader by three points in second place, while Crystal Ice (RUS) also is provisionally third.
The 2018 ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships lands at Zagreb’s Dom Sportova in Croatia on 16-17 March. The competition will see the best 21 teams competing for the most prestigious titles.
The 2018 Swedish National Championships took place this past weekend in Mölndal, Gothenburg and four synchro teams came away with gold medals.
After the short programs on Saturday, the junior and senior teams presented their free program on Sunday. By the Juniors, Idel of Russia maintained their first place and the top 3 has not changed. In the senior category, Team Surprise won the gold title.
The 2018 Spring Cup takes place this weekend in Sesto San Giovanni, Italy. On Saturday, the junior and senior teams presented their short program. Novice teams competed with the free program.
The second Swedish qualifiers took place this past Saturday and Sunday in Stockholm. Five junior teams were competing for the chance to represent Sweden at the Junior World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia in March.
The traditional WinterCup competition took place this weekend in Belgium. No less than 30 teams from eight different countries took part in the competition. In the junior division, the victory went to the Swedes of Team Spirit, a Belgian team, Team Phoenix, won the senior competition.
