The Team Fintastic (FIN) became World Junior Champions 2020 this Saturday in Nottingham, Great Britain. We talked to the team captains Emma Kaskinen and Karita Auvinen after their victory and ask them to speak about their experience.
The second day of competition at the 2020 World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships in Nottingham (GBR) saw Team Fintastic from Finland skate an excellent free program and take gold in front of the two Russian teams, Junost and Crystal Ice.

Despite all the difficulties and obstacles, World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships 2020 is taking place in Nottingham right now. 19 teams arrived in the UK to do their best and present the result of hard work they have done during the season 2019-2020.

The spread of the coronavirus around the world has an impact on the upcoming ISU events. The ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships in Nottingham, planned on March 13-14 in Great Britain remain scheduled but three teams have decided that they will no longer participate in the competition.
Team Mystique from Finland is participating in the Junior Worlds at the end of the week. The ISU (International Skating Union) updated this weekend the prevention measures for all accredited persons and announced that the ISU World Short Track Speed Skating Championships 2020 originally foreseen on March 13-15, cannot be staged. A synchro team in Europe has also been tested.
