"I started Skating when I was 8 years old and joined synchro soon after, at my home club in Auckland, NZ. In 2016 I joined the senior team Nova based in Brisbane, Australia, while finishing high school I flew backwards and forwards between Brisbane and Auckland to skate. I have been lucky enough to compete at the Mozart Cup, French Cup and Leon Lurje Trophy as an Australian representative with Nova. I am also a level 1 accredited coach, which has allowed me to be heavily involved with the team Black Ice in Auckland and coach Aussie Skate in Brisbane."

What does synchronized skating mean to you?

"Synchro means working with your second family to create a performance that is as enjoyable and meaningful to the audience as it is to skate in. It builds character, develops friendships and teaches invaluable life lessons."
