One more step towards the upcoming season

The contours of the 2021/22 season continue to take shape. The ISU recently gave details about the technical regulations in force.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the International Skating Union (ISU) has decided that three synchro communications will remain valid for the 2021/22 season: the Scale of Value (2322), the Well Balanced Program (2236) and the communication about the Novice categories (2238).
It means that the Senior short program will have five elements: an Intersection element, a Move element, a No Hold element, a Pivoting Block and a Traveling circle.
And the Senior free skating will still consist of nine elements: a Creative lift, a Group lift, two different intersections, a Move element, a No Hold Element, a Pair element and a Twizzle element, plus synchro teams will have to choose between an Artistic circle or an Artistic Wheel.

And they will have to present eight elements in the free program: two different intersections, a Move element, a No Hold element, a Pivoting Block, a Synchronized Spin, a Traveling Circle, and they will have to add either an Artistic Line or an Artistic Wheel.
