Team sports, competitions, and all organized activities are suspended from October 8 until October 28 in the Quebec province in Canada. After the first lockdown this spring, the synchro teams are, therefore, once again kept away from the ice and their training.
New restrictions on the practice of ice skating have been announced in Quebec (CAN), a province that counts many synchronized skating teams.

Quebec skaters were able to resume practices on the ice at the end of June and have been training so far by respecting social distancing.
Some synchro teams had also deployed very good ideas (such as fly swatters and massage rollers) during their practice on ice to overcome the inability to hold each other. In addition, synchro skaters had widely adopted the mask.

Over the past 24 hours, the latest data on the evolution of COVID-19 in Quebec reveals 900 new cases, bringing the total number of people infected to 81,914. Quebec is the province most affected by the virus, followed by Ontario (55 K confirmed cases) and Alberta (19 K).
