Russia found his new champions! Russian national synchronized skating championships 2016 took place 15th and 16th January in Yoshkar-Ola. Teams from the whole country competed in advanced novice, junior and senior categories.

Senior's field

Team Paradise from St Petersburg won their 18th national title. With a gorgeous short program on « Meditation » by Masne, Paradise received 71,39 points. Team Tatarstan earned 68,03 points for the short on the « Mission Impossible » music, Dream Team received 51,10 points for the short. 
In free programs, Paradise did 134,66 points, Tatarstan is 2nd with 119,64 and Dream Team 100,28.

Junior category

12 teams were engaged in this competition. This category presented the most interesting  battle for the champion’s title. 

After the short program, Crystal Ice (Team Russia 2 last year) did the best with 62,59 points, Yunost (Team Russia 1 last year) received 61.22 points and Idel (Team Russia 2 in 2014) made 56,35 points. In free program Crystal Ice earned 108,24 points, Yunost : 110,16 and Idel : 101,11.

Novice competition 

Team Sunrise-2 is the 2016 Russian champion in novice's category. Team Yunost novice took the second place and Team Kazanochka placed 3rd. A total of 17 teams were engaged.
