The gold medals went to Finland at California Cup 2019

The results are in for the California Cup which was an exciting start to the ISU Challenger Series. The energy in the crowd was ecstatic throughout the entire event. The gold medals went to Team Mystique and Helsinki Rockettes, both from Finland.
Team Mystique (FIN) won over Skyliners junior (USA) by
almost five points with their engaging “Clock” themed free program. Skyliners junior
(USA) earned all positive GOEs for their "Moulin Rouge" free skate.
With tiaras on their heads, Nexxice junior (CAN) claimed the bronze medal skating to a “Queen” theme.
Starlights junior (USA) finished in fourth place after gracing the audience with the second part of their Cinderella program.
Iceskateers Elite (AUS) rounded out the event by skating to an upbeat Cher program.

Helsinki Rockettes (FIN) take home the gold in the senior event. The crowd was amazed by their free program which was called "The Wounded Angel".
Hailing from the United States, Haydenettes (USA) earned the silver medal with their entertaining free program to INXS.

Les Suprêmes (CAN) finished in third place, earning four Level 4 elements.
In fourth place, Nova (CAN) dazzled the audience with their gorgeous “Peacock” free skate and dresses.

Skating to a Queen medley, Skyliners (USA) finished in fifth place. Despite a fall from a group lift at the beginning of the program, the team carried their energy and speed throughout the entire performance.
Lumineers (FIN) placed fourth in the free skate but finished in sixth overall.
In seventh place, Ice Storm (AUS) featured their male skaters in exciting lifts skating to another Queen medley.
