The Finlandia Trophy 2019 will be held in Espoo (FIN), October 11 to 13. Five high-level teams from Russia and Finland have been entered for this event. Here is what to expect this weekend.

"Once the final mystery is solved, then you can find a way out of the room. However, time is limited, so hurry up before the time is up. The clock is ticking..."

By revealing their new Short Program's theme "Escape Room", Marigold IceUnity (FIN), vice-world champion 2019, is looking for a season's first medal this weekend in Espoo. The successful Finns had already revealed a few days ago on Jura Synchro some parts of this new program.

But some other teams seem also ready to start a new season at Finlandia Trophy this Saturday.

Helsinki Rockettes (FIN), which have already presented their new Free Program last weekend at Shanghai Trophy in China, will now show their Short Program for the first time. The Finnish team coached by Kaisa Arrateig has already announced a stressful program "Alarm".

Also from Finland, Team Unique will also be in Espoo and is determined to show to the audience and judges their new performance. Will it be as original and dynamic as last year's ”Muzic makez me”? For sure, fans are looking forward to this new Short Program.

The Finnish delegation will also be made up of the Lumineers team. The athletes, which progress season after season,  will also present for the first time their new Short Program to the audience. The Lumineers have already given several clues on social media about their new theme. "Swipe right", "Swipe left"... What does that tell you?

Finally, the 2019 World Champion Team Paradise will also be back in Finland this weekend. The Russian team from Saint-Petersburg will be a hard contender for the Finnish teams. Except for a sneak peek of their new dresses (which will probably be black and white), nothing has yet been unveiled for Team Paradise. "Let's keep the intrigue until the first competition!," the coach Irina Yakovleva commented to Jura Synchro in September.

Some good mysteries will remain until the competition, which makes the Finlandia Trophy even more exciting. The synchro event will take place on Saturday evening in Finland.
