Tickets for the 2020 Worlds on sale in October

Are you already looking forward to starting the season again? Here is something to add on your agenda.

The top synchronized skating teams in the world will head to Lake Placid, New York April 3-4, 2020, to compete at the ISU World Synchronized Skating Championships 2020. All-event tickets go on sale at Noon ET on Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019. Those tickets will provide spectators with access to all official practice ice sessions and competitive events. Tickets will be sold through the Lake Placid box office website.

Herb Brooks Arena

The competitions will take place at the Herb Brooks Arena. This is a multi-purpose arena in Lake Placid, New York. This surface was built for the 1980 Winter Olympics. The arena was named after Herb Brooks, who coached the United States team during the 1980 Olympics. According to estimates, this stadium can accommodate up to 7,700 seats.

Lake Placid is located between Montreal and New York, 261 miles from Boston (USA) and 146 miles from Ottawa (CAN). As a reminder, the tickets for the 2019 World Synchronized Skating Championships in Helsinki were sold in less than an hour!
