The 2018 World Champion Marigold IceUnity is ready to compete this upcoming weekend for the first time of the season. As for the six other participating teams, the Fins will present their new short program called "WhyNot" at the Finlandia Trophy… And here is a sneak peek!

"#WhyNot" is the theme chosen by Marigold IceUnity for the Short Program this year. "We love our new short program and are so happy to get to perform it for everyone in Finlandia Trophy on Saturday. These last moments before FT we have especially focused on developing the interpretation of our short program and enjoyed the hard work we have already done!" said the team captain Camilla Sundgren to Jura Synchro.

Find out below the 21 first seconds…

"Our strengths with our new short program is that the story behind the program #WhyNot is very close to our hearts, and it definitely shows in the way we skate the program! Another strength is that I think we will be able to touch many people within and outside the synchro-community with this program and hopefully be able to create something that takes us closer to our mutual dream and goal about the Olympics," the team answered to Jura Synchro.

The team also informed about the costumes... "A vert critical part is still on its way to Finland, so the destiny of our dresses for FT still remains a mystery!"

The competition promises to be thrilling!
