Four teams take gold at the Swedish Nationals

The 2018 Swedish National Championships took place this past weekend in Mölndal, Gothenburg and four synchro teams came away with gold medals.
In the Senior division, Team Surprise (Landvetter KK) is the 2018 Swedish champion with a total of 212.10 points. Team Boomerang from Göteborg earned 160.41 points and took the second place. Team Unity from Angered KK finished with the bronze medal (128.72 points). Absent last year, this team made its entry into the category this season and lived this weekend its first championships at Åby Ice Hall in Mölndal.
At the top of the Junior podium: Team Spirit from Mölndal who returns to victory after a second place last year (total score of 138.17 points). The silver was taken by Team Nova from Konståkarna Borås and the bronze by Team Seaside (Tjörn KK).
The Novice division gathered 7 teams. The victory went to Team Karisma who posted the highest score of the category (52.36). Team Seaflowers and Team Together completed the podium.
In the youngest category, Team Happiness won the gold medal with an overall score of 34.27 points.
This competition was also the last event before Sweden hosted the Senior World Championships on 6-7 April. Since its recent history of synchronized skating, Sweden has already won six gold medals.
