The German capital hosted Friday afternoon the first competitions. Novices and Mixed Age teams present their free program in the Sportforum Berlin Hohenschönhausen.

With two German teams engaged, the Mixed Age was the first division to compete. United Angels dressed in red costumes won the title with a total of 38,90 points. Team New Horizons presented a great free program on the theme of Alice In Wonderland. This team from Mannheim placed 2nd with a total of 31,55 points.

After Mixed Age, Basic Novices teams entered on the ice.

Cool Sensation from Germany was the only team in the Basic Novice A category. They earned 25,86 points with their free program on Michael Jackson.

In Basic Novice B, the victory went to Team Junost. This team did an energetic performance and received a total of 43,01 points. Team Big Bang from the Czech Republic finished 2nd with a colorful program.

Then, the competition transitioned into the Advanced Novices event. The scores were very tights in this category.

Finettes, the national champion 2015 in Finland, was the 1st place winner. This team skated a powerful program to « Ant-Man » theme in dark costumes (total score: 56,00 points).

Close behind was Hot Shivers from Italy. This team presented a clean program to the Adams Family for a total score of 43,31 points.

The local Team Berlin Novice finished at the 3rd place with a Kung-Fu Panda free program. The skaters earned 43,03 points.

At the 4th place, the second Finnish teams: Ice Fantasy. This team skated an elegant program on the music of Tiffany Alvord « Secrets » (42.04 points). Skating Graces Novice from Germany placed 5th. They did a total of 36,11 points with their program on Robin Hood music.
