Dear synchronized skating fans, the time has come to think about synchro again ! The season 2016-2017 is about to begin in a few days. The 2016 Finlandia Trophy will open the competition’s time on October 8th in Espoo Finland.

This international competition that also hosts ladies, men, pairs and ice dance will start officially on October 6th, 2016. Synchronized skating teams will present only their (new) short program to the public and the judges (October 8th - 7:45 PM in Finland). 

For this first international competition of the season, four Finnish teams (Marigold Ice Unity, Revolutions, Rockettes and Team Unique) will compete against Team Paradise from Russia.

Last year, the winner was Rockettes who presented their program on the « Schindler’s list » music (68,93 points). Team Paradise placed 2nd (65,97 points), Marigold IceUnity finished third with 64,34 points, Team Unique took the fourth place (57,12 points) and Revolutions did a total of 55,46 points for their short program.
