Synchro teams competed in British Columbia

BC/YK Section Open Synchronized & Adult Skating Competition took place on Saturday 10, December in Surrey, Canada. More than 20 synchro teams from all British Columbia and Yukon met in this city, close to Vancouver.

Many skating clubs did a great impression on the ice of the South Surrey Arena. Maple Ridge Skating Club, for example, received three gold medal: in the Elementary, Juvenile and Beginner’s divisions.

By Novices, only one team were engaged. Team Ice Angels from Aldergrove Skating Club did 37,94 points in the free program 1 and 43 points in the program 2.

In the Open’s field, victory went to Ice Xcalibur from Lower Mainland Synchronized Skating Club (78,84 points). Team Sakura from Vancouver landed on the second place (65,43 points).

The Lower Mainland Synchronized Skating Club also finished 4th in the Juvenile category and The Greater Vancouver Synchronized Skating Club earned a gold medal in Adult with Team Cypress with 46,52 points.
