There's two very important weekends in the U.S. synchronized skating world: Porter weekend and nationals weekend.
Luckily, it's nationals week, so the festivities are just getting started.

Junior will be the first division to begin the competition on Wednesday.
Although USFSA has already decided on the World Team for the Junior division, the stakes are still high for every team competing.
This season, eight Junior teams were named Team USA and had the opportunity to head overseas to represent the United States. Therefore, most of the division understands the pressure of what is to come.
Skyliners and Lexettes are the favorite for the national championship after their success both in-country and out-of-country. Both teams medaled in the Challenger Series, which includes a gold in the Spring Cup for the Lexettes.

Just like last season, five teams will be fighting for the two World Team spots.
However, there's a new name on the block. After Crystallettes decided to move into the Elite 12 division, Teams Elite made the jump into the Senior division.
Nonetheless, the division is truly a coin toss. All teams were named Team USA and triumphed on the international stage.
Haydenettes are the 28-time U.S. national champion, so they are defiantly the team to watch the most. However, there is no weak team in the entire division.
The 2023 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships will begin on Wednesday and continue until Sunday.
