Team Crystal Ice Junior won the first stage of the Challenger Series in Poland on Friday night, exceeding 200 points! The competition has also started for the Seniors: Team Tatarstan is in the lead, followed by Crystal Ice Senior and Dream Edges from Finland.

The international Hevelius Cup competition continued on Friday with the junior free programs and the senior short programs. Here is what you need to know!

The ranking did not change for the Juniors and remained the same as at the end of the short programs.

Crystal Ice Junior once again presented a very clean program reaching level 4 in five elements (out of 8!) of their program. Their No Hold block and synchronized spins were particularly well executed, receiving a score of 5 by one judge. The Russian team finished with 201.87 for their performance in Poland and the gold medal!

With a little more than 20 points behind, Valley Bay Synchro fought hard and finished the weekend with a nice silver medal (180.72). The Finnish team presented a flawless program in a beautiful interpretation of Carmen.
