Finland World's qualifications in Turku

Turku (FIN) hosted this week-end many new synchronized skating programs. The Finnish senior and junior teams presented Sunday their free program. It was the second day of qualifications. The shorts and the novices programs took place on Saturday. The goal for all the teams is to represent their country at the upcoming ISU Worlds Synchronized Skating Championships 2016. The event will take place in Budapest (Hungary), April 8 - 9 for seniors and in Zagreb (Croatia) for juniors (March, 11-12).

In the Senior category, the ranking hasn’t changed since short programs. The Rockettes win the competition with 210.44 points. Second place for Marigold IceUnity (203.30 points). To complete the podium, Team Unique ranks on the 3rd place with a total of 190.92 points.

In the Junior competition, the fight was tougher. The three first teams finish with a very tight score. Team Fintastic from Helsinki takes the first place with 155.74 points. The team is followed by Team Mystique (154.20 points). The Musketeers are on the 3rd place with a score of 153.18 points.

The Novice’s results were known since Saturday. The Finettes did the best with a total of 59.59 points. Starlights placed just behind with 58.22 points. Team Dynamique finished the competition on the 3rd place (53.22).
