After a long pandemic break, Sweden's best synchro teams competed again last weekend at the first qualifying event in Borås. The new national senior team Team Inspire made its competition debut.

The Leon Lurje Trophy 2020 closed on Sunday with the Advanced and Basic Novice divisions. If the Advanced presented their program for the second time, the Basic Novices only got one shot in Gothenburg, Sweden.
On Saturday, Seniors and Juniors performed their free skating programs in Gothenburg, Sweden. Team Paradise and Team Sunrise 1 from Russia won the categories. Advanced Novices’ competition began and Team Sunrise 2 from Russia leads clearly. Leon Lurje Trophy 2020 was also the opportunity for many teams to set a new personal record!
Last weekend, the second national qualifications were held in Borås, Sweden. This very well arranged competition has been organized by the local club Konståkarna Borås.
A few days ago, Mölndals KK in cooperation with the Swedish Figure Skating Association hosted the first qualifications for the national teams in Sweden. Junior, Novice and Beginner teams competed.
This weekend Swedish nationals took place in Nacka outside of Stockholm. There were four categories in this weekend’s competition, Debutant, Advanced Novice, Junior and Senior. The arena was completely full, and all tickets were sold out weeks before the competition began.
The second Swedish qualifiers took place this past Saturday and Sunday in Stockholm. Five junior teams were competing for the chance to represent Sweden at the Junior World Championships in Zagreb, Croatia in March.

Swedish championships took place last weekend in Västra Frölunda, one of the 21 boroughs of Gothenburg. In Novice, victory went to Team Karisma, Team Spirit took the 1st place in Junior and finally Team Surprise won a new national title… before flying to Shanghai!
