Junior: "Scorpions" attacked
The weekend starts well for the Musketeers. Representing Finland, the team coached by Anu Oksanen (head coach of Marigold IceUnity) delivered a powerful program on Friday and won the provisional competition with 69.98 points.

As the only team coming from North America, Les Suprêmes Junior scored 67.02 and finished second. The Quebec team skated for the first time internationally their new short program... A girly and very positive one!

The good surprise came from Valley Bay Synchro (FIN). Fourth at the second qualifications last weekend in Finland, the team skated an emotional and creative short program called "The Wounded Angel", earning a total of 66.66.

Zhemchuzhina from Togliatti (RUS) ranked fifth after a classic short program that brought them 52.75 points. Team Spirit from Sweden placed sixth but is really not far behind (52.71).

Team Ice Fire from Poland finished 7th with 40.72 points, just in front of the French team Zazous (39.40) that is provisionally 8th.

Between 9th and 12th place, scores are very tight in the Junior competition: Starlight (SUI) got 30.28, Chrysalides (FRA) earned 29.87, Team Icicles came 11th with 29.78 and Solway Stars (GBR) won 29.47. Team Illuminettes completed the rankings.
