The victory, they wanted it and they got it. After beating Team Paradise a few weeks ago, the senior team Tatarstan from Russia won again at the first stage of the Challenger Series in Poland. Crystal Ice (RUS) and Dream Edges from Finland got the silver and the bronze, ending with tight scores.
Already in the lead after the first day, Team Tatarstan won the gold after a fast and difficult program. The team, which trains in Kazan in the west of Russia, received 145.72 for their free program, making a total of 226.00.

Indeed, if Crystal Ice managed to keep its 2nd place on Saturday in the final ranking, Dream Edges still beat the Russians in the free program (139.51). The team led by Siiri Eskelinen skated brilliantly its program "Romance" telling with emotion a love story between two women.
"We are proud of our team that despite having to leave 4 people at home and the changes what we had to make at the last minute, we were still able to get the highest score in international competitions so far," commented Team Passion after the competition on Instagram.
Finally, the United Angels team represented Germany in Poland. The team from Stuttgart collected 81.71 for their free program and also had some trouble with their Creative Element, which did not earn them any points. They scored 129.39 in Gdansk.
