56 synchro teams registered in Poland, and 61 for the moment in Germany! The 2020 editions of the Hevelius Cup (POL) and the Cup of Dresden (GER) will be very interested to follow this season. Top synchro teams, but also small Non-ISU teams... a lot of skaters will compete there.

"The number of registrations clearly shows that there is a need"
"Currently we are receiving many requests due to the cancellation of Budapest Cup, but unfortunately we are not able to give the teams an opportunity, because we have only two days", said the organizers of Cup of Dresden. This synchro competition that will be held at the end of February in Germany.

"Anyway we are overwhelmed and thankful that the Cup of Dresden is attractive to so many teams," continued the organizing committee. 61 teams from 11 different nations are already registered in Germany. "The number of registrations clearly shows that there is a need for competitions for the many Interclub-teams."

The final entries for Dresden will be published in two weeks
According to the German organizers, the recent cancellations of Budapest Cup and Neuchâtel Trophy have no real effect on the registrations. "Many teams have pre-registered already and our competition schedule was well-filled before with 58 teams."

The organizing committee wants to keep the secret on the final entries until the final entry date on December 1st. However, "due to the Interclub character of our competition ISU Teams are naturally underrepresented," said the Cup of Dresden organizing committee.
Top Senior and Junior teams will compete in Poland
56 teams from 11 countries will skate in Gdansk, Poland, in exactly two months. This competition will be one of the first ones in 2020.

In the Senior ISU division, eight teams will compete including the famous Team Unique and Helsinki Rockettes from Finland. Ice Storm from Australia already announced that they will skate in Gdansk. Germany will be represented by team Skating Graces.

Eight teams are also on the Junior ISU entry list in Poland. The audience will have the opportunity to see three teams from Finland (Ice Infinity, Ice Steps, and Reflections), the French team Jeanne d'Arc, the Spanish Team Mirum or the local Team Ice Fire.

Advanced Novice will gather six teams from Germany, Spain and Finland and for the moment only one team from Australia (Adelaide Ice Magic) will compete in Junior B.

With 11 teams registered, the Mixed Age division will be an interesting competition to follow.

For its 4th edition, Hevelius Cup can count on 19 teams from Poland competing in the Non-ISU divisions. This is a great participation for this country where synchronized skating seems to develop really fast.
