The third day of the Trophy D’Ecosse finished with the inter-club competition. With 8 Adult teams and 11 Preliminary teams, the rink was full to the rafters with spectators enthusiastically cheering on all the teams.

Preliminary

The battle for gold in this category has been raging all season between the British teams from Nottingham and Lee Valley but today team Phoenix from Lee Valley won with 34.35 points, hugely improving upon their score at the British Championships. With a routine to a Cops and Robbers theme, they « stole » the gold medal with only 0.11 points to spare. Icetastics from Nottingham received the silver with 34.24 points, skating to the Broadway musical Bring It On. Team Azura from Aberdeen received the bronze medal with 26.61 points. They improved upon their score at the British Championships with a programme to Copacabana, complete with glitzy costumes.

Adults

The current British Champions, Bladerunners from Altrincham skated to Le Jazz Hot very confidently and earned the gold medal again with 28.82 points. Starlight Rain from Stirling took the silver medal scoring 27.09 points. Skating to Pink Panther, they improved upon their score with their moody interpretation. Highlanders from Inverness got the bronze medal with 25.62 points skating to the Land of Lola from Kinky Boots.
