On Monday, Lee Valley London Club hosted the final British Synchro competition of the year. It was also the last club competition in Britain before the British Championships and an opportunity for teams to showcase their new routines. For most teams, it was a final chance to receive feedback from judges before Nationals.

The Nottingham teams continued their winning streak with their Elementary team, Icepops, winning gold again and looking pretty in pink. Their Preliminary team, Icetastic, also won gold with a score of 28.13 but were closely by Lee Valley’s Phoenix with 27.39. Both teams will be looking to claim the British Championship title in their category.

The Mixed Age category was uncontested and Lee Valley’s Aura skated to a military themed programme. In the Adult category, Bladerunners from Altrincham won gold for the second time this season with a very confident programme, surprising spectators with their whip intersection!
