In the midst of a snowstorm over the weekend in Finland, Team Fintastic kept their goal clear and won the Finnish qualification for the World Junior Synchronized Skating Championship which will be on 17-19 March 2022 in Innsbruck, Austria. Musketeers will be the second team selected.

After the short program, Team Fintastic was already leading the competition and kept the position with a victorious performance on Sunday with their free program "Brand new soul". On Sunday, they earned a huge 126.74 points and won the whole competition with 196.02 points. The team has improved their performances throughout the season so this was a fairly expected outcome. Team Fintastic has participated in Worlds every year since the competition was started in 2013.

Musketeers performed their free program "Flying carpet" calmly, earning 116.08 points. They finished second with 180.68 points in total. It was worth keeping the last year's free program as their performance was flawless and confident. This competition gave them a ticket to the Junior Worlds as Team Finland 2.

Team Mystique was fifth after the short program but managed to rise in the rankings on Sunday. Their free program "The Trickery game" received 113.68 points, and they gathered a total score of 177.70 points. They had a minor collision in the first Intersection, and the Pivoting Block also had some trouble. Although the team had the highest average score of the former two competitions, they lost place in the Junior Worlds only by 0.57 points!

Intersection elements were fateful to Valley Bay Synchro on Sunday. They had a collision and two falls in the first one and some error in the second one, so their "Carmen Reversed" got 109.05 points, and the team finished in fourth place, earning 175.41 points in total.

Dream Edges Junior ended in the fifth position. Their free program "Alchemy" got 106.81 points, and their final score was 174.19. They also had a fall in the Intersection, which impacted the technical scores heavily.

The Finnish Senior, Junior and Novice ISU teams are now preparing for the National Championships which will be arranged in Tampere on 5-6 March.
