The synchro world is already in full swing! In several countries on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, several competitions took place last weekend.

"It was amazing! Everything ran so smoothly and all of the teams loved being back competing in person for the first time in 1.5 years!" said teams Excel representing The Skating Club of Boston that organized the Boston Classic 2021 competition.

There was excitement in the air last weekend!

In Kalamazoo, Michigan, in Trento Cup (ITA) or even in the first Interclub competition in Jyväskylä, Finland, dozens of synchro teams of all levels put on their skates to (finally) present their programs in person! A true relief after a year and a half of training hampered by the pandemic.

Competing with caution
In Boston, everyone who came in to watch as spectators had to be vaccinated and show their vaccine card. "For teams, everyone was required to compete with masks on, unless the team was 100% vaccinated, then they could take their masks off only when competing," they continued.

However, Covid has not said its last word, and several countries in Europe are implementing new restrictions as the holiday season approaches. So let's keep our fingers crossed that the season can continue to unfold as it has until now... in good training and travel conditions!
